About Us
We are proud employees of school jurisdictions, colleges, universities, trade schools and the provincial government. The Executive of the Association is made up of Directors elected at the Annual General Meeting from the membership at large. Through an initiative of the staff of Alberta Education, AEFAA was formed in 1971, and achieved recognition as a Society in 1974.
President's Message
Dear AEFAA Members,
It is an honor to begin my term as President of the Alberta Educational Facilities Administrators Association. I am grateful for the confidence you have placed in me, and I look forward to working alongside such a dedicated and knowledgeable membership.
As I step into this role, I recognize the strong foundation built by those who have served before me and the ongoing commitment of our members to excellence in educational facilities management. AEFAA continues to be a valued community built on collaboration, shared expertise, and a collective desire to support one another in an evolving and demanding field.
I am also fortunate to be working alongside a committed and experienced Executive team. Their knowledge, leadership, and dedication to AEFAA will be invaluable as we move forward together. I look forward to collaborating closely with them to build on our successes and continue strengthening the association for the benefit of all members.
In the coming year, my focus will be on building upon the value of AEFAA membership, ensuring that every member sees meaningful benefits through engagement, networking, and access to valuable resources. Equally important will be our commitment to enhancing professional development opportunities, providing relevant and practical learning experiences that help our members grow and succeed in their roles.
Another key priority for the year ahead is to grow and strengthen our membership, with a focus on both delegates and vendor partners. Expanding our delegate base will bring new perspectives and energy into our organization, while deeper engagement with our vendors will enhance the value we provide to all members. By fostering strong, collaborative relationships between members and industry partners, we can create greater opportunities for knowledge sharing, innovation, and mutual success.
As we look ahead, I am committed to listening to our members, encouraging active participation, and ensuring AEFAA remains a strong, responsive, and forward-thinking organization. Together, we will continue to share knowledge, build connections, and support one another in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative learning environments.
Thank you for your continued commitment to AEFAA. I am excited for the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.
